This small pocket radio has great reception, many features, and runs on 2 AA batteries. There is a battery life indicator, and a set lasts about 24 hours using the headphones (probably less using the speaker).
You can listen to AM, FM (Stereo in the headphones), and broadcast TV (though I am not sure what will happen with the digital TV conversion).
There are 19 memory positions which are not bandspecific - you can have any number of AM, FM, or TV (up to 19) memory locations. There is a lock feature which keeps the station from changing if you inadvertently hit the buttons. There is also a sleep timer, which turns it off after 60 minutes. It has a belt clip which you can attach if you wish.
The reception is better than most (though maybe not a good as a car radio), the headphone are very good, too.
It is a little larger than a deck of cards.
Of course, since the analog to digital television conversion in 2009, this radio does not receive television audio.
