It is called a cellular travel charger but I haven't tried it on any other phone models except my nokia phones. True to its name-travel charger- this charger is extremely lightweight for its size. An ordinary charger of the same size would weigh twice as more. It charges Ni-Cad, Ni-Mh and Li-Ion batteries. The box boasts full charging of any battery within an hour. True enough it charges faster than ordinary nokia chargers but definately not one hour. My BL-5C takes an hour and a half to two hours at least to be fully charged. A bright green LED indicator on its body turns on when it is charging. This is very useful because one doesn't have to look over and over again to see if it is charging. It also never heats up like ordinary chargers do, making it safe to use. It might be called a travel charger but I think it can be used anywhere.
