A Great Way To Keep Your Babies Hand Print By a-w-omyn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
If you're looking for a way to keep a nice momento of just how small your baby was, this is a great idea. It would also make for a wonderful baby shower gift!
It comes in a silver heart shaped tin, that says "Baby's Handprint" and has a hand on the top of it. Inside is a heart shaped plastic mold, a black stand that you can use to display baby's handprint when you're down and it's all hardened and dry, a bag of plaster mix, and an eyeshadow looking chalk stuff that you can use to color the handprint, to make it stand out (or color around the handprint, to make it stand out).
You mix the plaster with warm water, and pour it into the mold. Wait for it to dry a little bit, and press your baby's hand into the plaster. Then Wash baby's hand, and wait for the plaster to finish hardening, decorate it, display it, or keep it in the tin.
The instructions are easy to follow, and it's a great little momento.
