The Apex AD/1000 DVD Player is a great DVD player for the price. Being truly stay of the art when it was first released in 2002, it still has a lot of great features when compared to today's DVD players.
This makes a great DVD player for a bedroom or kid's room. It can not only play DVDs, but CDs, DVD/Rs, and mp3s as well. This player even does a better job playing DVDs than a more expensive player I recently purchased.
It's easy of use is great for younger kids. It's durability means it will not easily break.
I have used this DVD player in both my living room and bedroom.
The only downside I have found with this player is that when playing multi-layer DVDs there's a longer pause when changing layers than on most newer players.
I would definitely recommend this DVD player as an everyday DVD player, but not for a movie room.
