This is a sweet and very romantic book about Julie who is a secretary to Simon a doctor.Julie is assigned to work for Simon when her previous boss had to retire.She is reluctant to work for him as she finds him not very friendly and he also at first is not to happy to inherit her.Gradually they find themselves unwillingly thinking about each other and then they fall in love. What is endearing about it is that Betty Neels very skillfully writes about their journey towards falling in love and also what was really nice was that Simon's feelings were also described by this author so making it more enjoyable.

Through out the book both Simon and Julie can be seen fighting their feelings for each other, trying to deny their attraction but it was evident from the beginning that that had great chemistry as is shown throughout the book by author Betty Neels. Simon even goes as far as to do nice things for Julie's mother and brother and yet it was not until the very end of the book that Julie started to believe that he was sincere.
