Decaying teeth can lead to heart failure in your pets. Knowing this, I purchased the Petrodex Dental Care Kit for my Pomeranian. This kit had everything I needed to easily keep my dog's teeth clean. But, what would my dog think of these products? Would they be easy to use or would she turn her nose up to them?
The kit comes with a double-ended toothbrush, a finger tip toothbrush, and beef flavored toothpaste. I first applied some of the toothpaste to my finger to get my dog used to the product. She really liked the taste of it. I then applied some to the finger tip toothbrush and began to slowly brush her teeth.
The brushing was fairly easy and the products did a good job. The key is to slowly introduce your dog to the new products. Give them a chance to understand what you're doing or you could have a hard time getting your dog to cooperate.
