A Lifetime With State Farm

Reviewing: State Farm Auto Insurance
Purchased at: State Farm     Price: $640.00 USD

My parents had State Farm Insurance on their cars, which is probably why I got it for my first car, decades ago. Since I still have it, all these years later, you can pretty much figure I'm happy with it.

I've only had to file a couple of claims -- actually, just three auto claims in my lifetime, and that's not bad. The service has always been excellent. They've been quick to process the claim, and in some cases have paid the repair companies directly, which has saved me a step. For one car, pretty much full coverage, and a $500 deductible, my premiums are under $60 a month, although I pay it twice a year. I could do it other ways, but that works well for me so I've stuck with it.When I was married, I was appalled to learn what my husband was paying to insure his truck; I suggested he at least talk to State Farm, and his premium was cut in half (and not just because we were married!).

I've never had my premium go up after an accident, either, which I really appreciate. My agent and her offfice staff know me by name, and when I call them, I don't have to give them a number; they can just find my account information in seconds. They've offered other services, such as a car loan, but they've never been pushy about it. I did decide to use them for home-owner's insurance, and their service has been excellent with that as well.

I realize that different parts of the country, and different kinds of cars, are subject to different premium levels. But I've lived in three states and several different areas within those states, and the service has always been excellent. I know what I'd say if anyone asked me to recommend an insurance company: State Farm. I don't think you can go wrong.

Great information on a very trusted insurance group. There is a State farm in Walla Walla! I had them for a couple of years but had to switch after Finding a slightly better offer. State farm was right on it when I had my first accident 20 years ago.

All I ever want to know about insurance co's is how they perform when you have to claim. This sounds good.

Yuo have truly found a wonderful company-that's fantastic that your premium has not gone up even though you've had accidents!

I used to have Statefarm and never had any problems. They were always very helpful. I did end up switching though as they weren't the cheapest. But still a good company.

State Farm was my first auto insurance also. My mom had it for her car so I just went on her politcy when I got my first car. I will admit though that I did end up switching to someone else was I had to get my own policy

I had always used Statefarm, but have changed in the last few month, because of conflict. But they are still a really great insurance company.

We've had State Farm for years too. Having a local agent who knows us has been great. They've always paid promptly on anything over the deductible.
