My baby son has very curly but soft hair. It is very hard to detangle his hair without some kinds of softening product in it. I thought that I'd give Baby Love Conditioning Detangler a try when I saw on the shelf in teh beauty supply store.

Baby Love comes in a white plastic spray bottle of about 8 oz. It's first ingredient is water which is the main softening agent. It is also enriched with protein. It has a pleasant (not over powering) scent of baby powder. The scent does stay in his hair for a while and make him smell good enough to nibble! You know, that 'baby' smell?

I use this on my son's dry hair prior to detangling. I spray quite a bit of it in his hair. Basically until it is dripping. I then proceed to detangle combing the tangles from the ends of his hair first, and then working my way up to the roots. While he hates getting his hair combed, he has been able to sit longer and allow me to comb it when I use Baby Love. The scent that is left in his hair afterwards is great too!
