A Little Phone With Lots To Offer By TAlderson on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Motorola V190 is not a snazzy phone. It does not try to be. Unlike the Razr, Krazr, or Pebl (all also by Motorola), the V190 does not aim to be the next big phone. What it does aim for is to be a great all-around phone with good reception, internet capabilities, and some added bonus features for a lot less than its more chic cousins. The V190 is small, but not so much that it interferes with function. The screen is easy to read and the navigation is very intuitive. Moreover, the battery lasts for up to seven days and does so after being plugged in for only a couple hours, great for someone who does not have time to spend waiting for the phone to charge. All of this would make it a great product in and of itself. But the phone has more in store. Scrolling at the bottom is a customizeable news ticker, displaying sports, weather, and news from across the nation and around the world. This come for free, with major networks like ESPN, CNN, and the Weather Channel contributing content. Major League Baseball has even let you follow your favorite team with up-to-date news, as well as news from around the league. All of these features in a free phone make for a nice package. It may not be the hottest item, but it is sure not to lose its luster.
