A Middle Weight Pda That Still Packs A Punch. By chaucer on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Palm T|X is a mid-range Palm device that come packaged with a wireless keyboard. On the whole, this is a solid Palm device. The built in WiFi is reliable and easy to use (though it drains the battery) and it syncs seamlessly, even with my MacBook Pro. The calendar and other applications are the same we are used to with all Palm devices, and there's not a lot of variation from the expected. The biggest problem with the T|X is that the keyboard is extremely temperamental. The keyboard and T|X lose connection to one another any time the bluetooth of the device is activated or it senses another nearby bluetooth device. This can make it difficult in meetings when multiple people are using similar kinds of devices. Finally, Mac users who use iCal should know that the Palm OS doesn't seem capable of recognizing the separate calendars feature of iCal, which can make for a lot of reorganization.
