A Mighty Wind By buckeyefan on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I couldn't WAIT to see this film. A Mighty Wind features the same cast as Best In Show, and Waiting for Guffman, which were two films I found to be completely hilarious. What a disappointment I was in for.

We actually bought this movie before watching it, because I was so sure I would love it. It is about 60's era folk singers that get back on stage for a memorial concert in NYC's Town Hall. The characters are all very eccentric as in the other movies that feature this group, but the characters just sort of fell flat for me in this one. I think the actors did a fine job, but the script didn't give them much to work with. I still like the dynamics of all of these actors together though.

A Mighty Wind is rated PG-13, and runs 92 minutes. I can only assume the 92 minutes is correct, because I have not been able to bring myself to watch this film from beginning to end, even after a few attempts- I always get bored, and end up doing something else more worth my time.
