A Mighty Wind Dvd By schimj on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

A Mighty Wind is another one of Christopher Guest's mocumentaries, this time focusing on the world of folk music. A highly respected member of the folk music community passes away, and to honor his memory, many of the musicians that he'd produced and inspired come together to play in a benefit for the folk music pioneer. In the movie are all the people that usually are in Guest's movies, including Fred Willard and Eugene Levy. The movie is incredibly funny, and not too long. The characters are unique and a little bit crazy, and are very entertaining. All of the music is quaint and folky, but fairly odd too. Its a very fun movie, and rather family friendly. It is rated PG-13 for mild language and sex-related humor.
