AVG Technologies Free AVG antivirus was always my favourite antivirus application and till date I'm utilisizing it on my PC. Why?
* First of all it hogs little memory, * Powerfull antivirus engine, * Great e-mail scanner, * Daily updates, etc.
All this iintuitive features comes at free of cost. It's really great. Recently AVG technologies upgraded this free software with Version-8; featuring, *Anti-virus, *Anti-Spyware, *E-mail Scanner, *Resident Shield, * Link Scanner (search shield) with new graphical interface.
In this new version, Anti-Spyware and Link Scanner is a new addition. Nothing to tell about how an Anti-Spyware works, but Link Scanner works in a way by getting attached with your browser and whenever you search for something via Google or Yahoo!, it blocks dangerous websites and checks links for threats.
It's a great antivirus. It's amazing fact that Seventy-five million downloads of FREE AVG Antivirus can't be wrong.
