I'm a total book worm. In fact, I read all the time! While reading a genuinely good book, I become absorbed in the story and feel as though I'm right there in the middle of all the action. The sad part is, finding a book that good is rather difficult sometimes. I get tired of reading books about the same thing over and over again so you can only imagine the joy I feel when I read a good book. One such book would be Impulse by Ellen Hopkins. It is the type of book that you CANNOT put down, regardless of how hard you try. While reading Impulse, I became oblivious to my surroundings. I felt the pain, hatred, love and a number of other emotions all three of the main characters (Tony, Vanessa and Connor) felt throughout the story. Ellen Hopkins is a fantastic author and definitely one of my favorites. Ellen Hopkins captures the things a number of teenagers go through, especially in this book, and she captures it in a way that both terrifying and thrilling.This books of hers is a must read for any of her fans. Anyone that loves a book about romance, love, a need to belong, drug addictions, suicide, guilt, depression and hatred should give read this book. Even if you're one of those people that don't like to read, you will love this book.
