A New Chocolate Fudge That I Didn't Like By Sparkle333 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I never met a chocolate I didn't like...until tonight. I was in the cheese section at Publix, picking out some of my favorite Havarti cheese, when I spied some chocolate fudge. The label said, "Old Fashioned Chocolate Cheese Fudge." Right off, I wasn't thrilled with the chocolate-cheese combination, but I thought it was probably like cream cheese or something, and that always blends well with sweets. But come to find out, it was made with Wisconsin cheese, cocoa, and cream.

It certainly looked delicious, but boy was I disappointed! I took a bite, and my taste buds went into an immediate revolt. What??? First, it didn't even taste sweet, and my mouth was set for something really sweet. Secondly, the texture was similar to canned frosting, which made it taste extremely mushy. And next, I didn't like the taste of the cheese. I was right--the combination of chocolate and regular cheese, was one I could have easily lived without.

Since fudge is high in fat, calories, and sugar, I decided that it definitely wasn't worth the damage it would do. I can't believe that I actually threw chocolate fudge out (a definite first for me), but it was really bad! Stay clear of this one!
