A Nice Wargame Silent Hunter By shanks on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

A nice war based game and worth to give it a try. I experienced the war thrills in various modes like stand-alone missions let you join from the middle of a mission, the adversarial mode where different players having control of the surface vessels and the submarines.

There is improvement in the visual effects and also the audio and sound if i compare it to the earlier versions. The sound quality is fair enough to make you feel the submarines moving around. There is wide range of options to choose from in terms of weapons, submarines, war situations etc. the multiplayer option supports 7 players on a LAN and 3 on internet. The details provided by the graphics are superb. The oil painting look "oil painting" look of the game makes it distinct from other in the field. To get the best out of it i suggest try playing it on a machine with more than 128 memory good graphics car(from ATI or NVIDIA).I have heard people talking about some stability issue(resulting in a game crash) but i am yet to experience any such thing.
