Every so often I enjoy sprucing up my porch with some new decorative accessories. I'm a Christian, and whenever I can, I also like to include some Christian accents into my home decor. This welcome mat was perfect. It's light green with butterflies and dragonflies in the background. A scripture is written across it in white accent letters. It says, "Everything is possible for him who believes." That's a nice inspirational welcome!

I also decorated a nearby table with a new tablecloth, topper, and a bouquet of flowers. Nothing welcomes friends and family to your home like a cheery porch. I also have a multi-color wreath on the door, and 4 porch chairs. I can't wait for the cooler weather here in Florida when the weather will be just right for sitting a while on the porch. It's an old Southern tradition.

The rug is 100% Polyester pile, with 100% Latex backing. It says that it is machine washable, and should be line dried. I doubt that will happen at our house, as I tend to use a welcome mat until it's worn out, and then replace it with another. They have a rather short life in my experience, but they are nice while they last. I love my "new" porch look.
