A Novel for Young Readers

Reviewing: Lin Acacio Flores The Secret

When I was in high school, our teacher asked us read 4 books within that summer. I usually get bored when I read. But, I found them great! And I became attached to this book. This was the one I found very interesting. Especially when I read the part that the story first began when it was World War II. When I finished the book, I kept thinking about the main character, Rica, a brave young girl who uncovered the truth about the hidden/forbidden convent. I forgot to mention, this was also the first time I finished a novel! When I was young, I used to get everyhing I wanted. Everything's changed because they found out that all the books they bought me were just left on my cabinet. Good thing The Secret came along! Reading books (about mysteries) became my hobby. My parents became proud of me that time. Why wouldn't they? I finished the four books! I'll be posting the three other books soon.

The Secret helped me a lot. It inspired me to do other 'brave' stuff. Why I used to be a coward. Thanks Rica. I'm not afraid of faceless nuns anymore (LOL) Now I know thay're just mannequins made by other nuns to scare students away who dares to enter the forbidden place. :D
