My daughter came home last April from her Grandmas lugging this backpack. I was upset at first cause she took her school backpack with her. Her Grandma dug in her car trunk and dug out Maxy's school bag, it had a huge rip in it. Okay she could use this new one for school also.

The color was light blue, with screen printing and embroidery flowers and blossoms on it. My daughter was happy she said "It is so cool looking mom the girls at school are gonna want it!" It had plenty of storage space, even with a compartment for a laptop. The very front small zipper pouch was a organizer compartment. On the sides of the backpack there are two side stashes on it, so she could store stuff like her calculator and mirror compact. There is like a mesh back panel on the back. The front also has a belt clip, this is just a design element. There is also a media pocket panel so she could put her MP3 Player in it.

For the last two months my daughter has used this backpack everyday. She loves it! The front pouch keeps her organized and ready to go. The backpack still looks like it is in new condition.
