A One Pot Wonder! By Monet07 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I recently bought a Le Crueset pot for myself. After watching every chef on the Food Network use one I had to have one myself. Well I have fallen in love with Le Crueset! The pot is made of cast iron and the interior has a porcelain enamal finish so I don't have to worry about pre seasoning the pot beforehand or after cooking which is a plus. A couple of other things I like about it is that I can cook on the stove with it and then put it right into the oven if needed. This leaves only one pot to clean instead of several pots and pans. I can also put it directly into the refridgerator if needed. Not only does it distribute heat throughout but it also keeps your food warmer, longer. Its dishwasher safe and also very easy to clean if you do not have a dishwasher. I plan to buy more of the Le Crueset products. The downside is they are not cheap but you can always find sales at say Williams and Sonoma and online stores. I found mine marked down 50% because the color of the pot was no longer a "popular" color. It's cobalt blue and I am just fine with that! :) I hope you will not let the price stop you from buying this wonderful cookware. It's worth every penny!
