A perfect Cast Iron Skillet

This cast iron skillet will never leave my kitchen. In my house we have several skillets in our kitchen but none of them can compare to this one. I bought this skillet last year for Christmas and to this day it's in the same shape when I purchased it. I always cook with this cast iron skillet because it's one of those skillets I can always use no matter what I decide to cook. One thing I like about this skillet is that it gets to a pretty high temperature and actually stays heated for long periods at a time. I'm always using this skillet for cooking. It works with cooking meats, roasting veggies and it cooks batter. At first I found it really hard to keep this skillet clean because most cast iron skillets hate water simply because they rust. I found a solution to cleaning my skillet though and all it requires is kosher salt and a little bit of warm water until the salt turns into a soft paste. I find this skillet really helpful especially around the holiday season. It's really easy for me to use and not that heavy either. I love everything about this cast iron skillet, everything from it's size to the way it cooks.
