A Perfect Circle Thirteenth Step By dustinsm06 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this CD having been a big fan of A Perfect Circles debut album "Mer de Noms". When I picked this up on the day it was released, I was not dissapointed. This CD delivers a great distribution of slower melodic songs with heavier crunching songs, and overall, it is a slightly heavier CD then their previous. Songs such as "The Outsider", "Pet", and "The Package" form the heavier side of the CD, and should please the fans who also like Mayard James Keenans other band "Tool". For those who like dark atmospheric songs, "The Noose", "Blue", and "A Stranger" will leave you craving more. This CD is perfect for those rainy days. If you like Tool, A Perfect Circle, or any other of the musical projects that the frontman Maynard James Keenan is involved in, the I would suggest picking up Thirteenth Step and giving it a good listen!
