A PICKET FENCE FOR YOUR GARDEN
By Debbie831 onI needed to get some edging for the garden I was creating behind the garage. I was strolling through Lowes and I found the perfect edging. This looks almost like a picket fence and it looked really easy to install. Very important for me since I really had never done anything like this before. Yes beilieve it or not my husband use to do all the outside work.
I was really excited and bought this, They come in 2 foot sections so I bought 6 of them. It really looked nice when I got them in. It gave a nice clean look to the garden. They are redish brown color and look really nice when my roses are in bloom.
Cons: They are very flimsy which is good because you can bend them to go around corners and shape them to match your edge but there is only one small stake at each end and I am finding they fall over quite easily. I have had them for about 3 years and they still look nice but after a rain or any type of wind I do have to go out and straighten them out. I am very pleased with how well they have held up over these past few years as far as looks. They still look brand new. Just wish they were a little sturdier.

I know they are not that sturdy but they do make up for it by providing neat and very decorative edging. I love a tidy garden, and this edging helps make it look loved and well tended.
I've used this edging before too. It weathers nicely over time.
I love this edging! They don't look like they would be flimsy at all! They've definitely held up for you after all of these years!
Nice info on lawn edgings. Thanks for sharing
I have seen these, but they are flimsy, and most people are not dedicated to keeping them set up nicely, so most gardens I've seen them in look cheap.
Thanks for telling us the pros and cons of this product. I will keep this in mind when I purchase one.
It looks very nice. Thanks for sharing your experience of this product.
The log border edging from Lowes has a cute, rustic look. Since you spend a lot of time in your garden, I guess it's o.k. that you have to adjust the edging after a wind or heavy rain. It might not work as well for someone looking for a low maintenance product.
Very cute I need edging for my garden I will have to keep this in mind thanks!
Thanks for sharing. I always wonder how this stuff holds up over time, aside from staking issues it sounds alright!
