A Pie Crust Shield That Protects Your Crusts!

Mrs. Anderson's Pie Crust Shield is a handy gadget to have especially when pressed for time and you need your pastry to come out right.It's made out of alumninum so it's ligtweight.Most recently I used this shield for a deep dish buttermilk pie I needed to bake for a meeting.I woke up early to bake the pie so it to be as fresh as possible despite the fact that the pie had to come out perfectly!Well the pie was so rich it was disgusting however despite adding several minutes to the baking time, the crust came out a lovely golden color.I have tried just fashioning a foil cover around the edge of the pie, so annoying!The foil kept falling off so I am really pleased with my purchase.The only word of caution I have to pass on is that because it is so lightweight it bends easily so be sure to be careful when storing in drawers, etc.
