A Place Called Home

In Lori Wick's A Place Called Home Series, the first book in the 4 part series is called A Place Called Home and it is a wonderful book, just like her many others. It takes place in the late 1800's and is about Christine Bennett, a girl who is on the run after being told she is in danger, finds herself in Baxter, WI hurt and broke and with no place to go.The doctor who cares for her injuries helps her find a home and a job and as she becomes more and more a part of his family, she learns not only to love them, but most especially the doctor's twin brother Luke.

This book not only has a great love story, but it is also has a bit of mystery/suspense.Most of all it is a wonderful testiment to God's plan for our life is we let go and let God.
