The picture looks familiar? Of course it does. The player looks a lot like the Ipod shuffle. Talk about originality.. Anyway it is a small cylindrical player thats light and easy to carry. Playlists can be created for your moods. It even comes with a built in FM radio. This model was meant for the sports savvy group of people. Thus you will find a calorie counter, pedometer and a stopwatch built into it. Though I think if you're a regular gym visitor, most of these features are already found pre-installed in your exercise machines. It even has a music pacer that changes your music according to the type of exercise you want to do. Now that was one feature I liked because I always exercise while listening to music. This MP3 player is waterproof. Thank god. With all that sweat and other stuff while exercising, other players would get easily damaged. Although it is drop proof too, fine cracks seem to show on the body when accidentally dropped. In time, these cracks would make the player break apart. Sony should do something about that. Other than that and the design, this would be an ok player for sports purposes. Sony has created a sturdy MP3 player thats worth buying.
