A Review On My Old Dragon, Not The Wife By Glen Smith on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This review is on the DeLonghi Dragon 2,500 watt electric heater. The heater element is enclosed inside a radiator, which is filled with oil, there is a thermostat fitted, so you can control the temperature exactly. On my particulat model, there is also a timer, s it can be set to heat up while you are at work, or still in bed. The heater is also fitted with a switch to control a second immersion heater, so it can heat up within minutes, giving instant heat.

I forget how much I paid for this, but I do remember it was well worth it. The Dragon is fitted with castors, so it can be wheeled from room to room. The castors are not the best, but do the job as long as you are careful, as it is easy to tip the heater over.

It is very tempting to hang clothes over it to dry, but of course this is very bad practice. You can place clothes on it as soon as you have turned it off, and these dry very quicky, but you must make sure the timeclock is not set to come on, or unplug it. Iam well pleased with my old Dragon, and have been using it for quite a few years now. The Guarantee is two years, and the only critique I have, is that the mains lead is a little short.

The dimensions are only 20 inches by nine, and it is 25 inches high. It can therefore be stored against a wall, and takes up very little room.

All in all, I can thoroughly recommend this little gem to all.
