A Safe to Depend On
By zoink57 onUnfortunately a while back our office safe decided it didn't want to open anymore.After having a locksmith come out to break it open, we were told it was time to purchase a new safe.When looking for a new safe, we had to make sure it was a similar size to the old one (since we had a designated space in the office for it), it was heavy enough that no one could walk away with it (it's 175 lbs.) and it had a drawer in it (to use for deposits).Luckily we found a match with the Fire Fyter Safe on Sam's website.This safe features a combination and key lock, top shelf, drawer unit that can accommodate file folders and it has Fire Protection for temperatures as high as 1700 degrees for one full hour.
The safe has worked out great in the 2 years that we have had it now.Every now and again the combination lock will give me fits if it is not done right, but other than that it has been a welcomed addition to the office.

This is an excellent safe that should withstand most ordinary fires. But even though it weighs in at a hefty 175 pounds, it should be hard drilled into the flooring or back wall.
I've seen this safe at Sam's Club. It's a very nice one indeed!
