A Small Camera That's Big On Performance By peatfire on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This small camera has an amazingly large 3" LCD panel, and you can even zoom in on your picture to check a facial expression or other small detail. (If you buy it, you'll want to make sure to buy a protective film for the panel, so it doesn't get scratched.)

It has a 5X zoom, is 6.0 megapixels, and only weighs about 7 ounces. It has been a great camera to travel with so far, as it can fit in a pocket but still take high quality photos. There are settings for different lighting situations you might encounter, such as museum, sunset, and snow. We've been very pleased with the color and quality of the pictures so far.

The battery isn't standard because the camera is so small, but it lasted us through our two week trip to France last year. We made a short video clip of the Eiffel Tower at night and were a little worried about draining it, but it was fine. In the future, we'll carry a backup battery just in case!
