A Smart Baby is a Happy Baby!
By nspear on - Updated Oct 15, 2011This great learning system comes equipped to do just that. From Sign Language, colors, numbers, animals, shapes and so much more! It features three levels of "play" so that even the youngest of users can have fun while learning with this great game. It is recommended for 9-36 months.. So it can grow with your child over time! It can also be used as a stand alone toy, teaching colors and shapes, or if your child is like mine was.. Simply used to bang on, while mommy hoped she was learning something in the process.
The Sign Language feature is by far my favorite on this system. We have used it over and over until we finally downloaded a full sign language dictionary because my daughter had fallen in love with the idea of signing by using her V Smile Baby! I do have to remind her to say the words at the same time every now and then.. But all in all I think it is a wonderful skill for her to have, it helps frustration of communication with her as well as with mommy!
The Keyboard is wireless giving you freedom to move about without bulky cords tripping you up. You can purchase several new cartridges as you outgrow, or your child gets bored doing the same things over and over again... simply stick a new cartridge in and whaa~la! New things to explore.
All in all.. This is a wonderful educational tool that can be used for quite some time as your child develops over their first few years!
Update On May 07, 2008: Ok.. so my cut and paste feature isn't perfect! Somehow it left out my first paragraph.. and I didn't proof it well enough! So here is the beginning to my review:
Learning is an everyday activity for my small children (along with mommy on most days!), And as a parent it is hard to come up with new and exciting activities to spark there developing minds.

My daughter loves sign language too! I haven't seen this toy but it sounds great! Will check it out next time I'm in Target!
I love the concept of this educational toy. This would be excellent for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders with significant speech delays. The signing would certainly help with communication and cut down on frustrations.
I think this is wonderful. Learning to sign is very important. Good work, mommy!
I think I know what to get my grandson next. Thanks for sharing the information about this great educational toy for babies. I will certainly be buying this one soon.
This sounds like a wonderful learning opportunity! I used to teach sign language as a form of expressive worship. It is so beautiful-like dancing with your hands! :)
This sounds like a great tool for learning, I think moms could have more fun with it if not careful. Thanks for sharing
