The land line telephone jack in my kitchen is along a short wall within the breakfast nook area which makes a large cabinet or table out of the question. I still needed a stand to place my telephone charger on so I could plug the telephone into the jack and a power outlet.
I came across the Style Selections telephone stand at the local Lowe's hardware store and the size was a perfect fit for my home. The stand is 12 in. x 14 in. x 24 in. tall. It is constructed out of hardwood, has three shelves that are good for nick naks or telephone books and a top drawer which is good for storing note pads and writing pens. It comes fully assembled, just take it out of the box. The finish is described as Campaign, which is a dark looking finish to me.
The stand is designed in such a way as to bevel inwards so that the base is larger than the top. The top of the stand is large enough to accomodate the telephone with an attractive look to the overall appearance. At $34.00 the Style Selections telephone stand is practical and affordable.
