A staple item in my closet
By RachelReviews onI like brands that sell pants that come in various lengths like short, regular and long. For me, it really helps cut down the amount of shopping and try on time I have to do. With short lengths, I don't have to get my pants hemmed, which is a major plus from a cost and time standpoint.
I bought these in April on Ebay. Before I moved, I lived by Express stores, but now there are none close to me. Also, I don't want to pay the retail price for their jeans. They're not obscenely high priced, but I know that on Ebay you can find them at a real discount.
I found this one auction selling my size and the starting price was $0.99. I bid on it. I thought, "How great would it be to get new jeans for $5.99 total?" Express jeans prices vary, but I'm estimating the retail value of these at $49.50.I ended up winning at my original bid and received the jeans soon after.
These jeans are a nice medium blue. There aren't any embellishments or excessive whiskering. There are a couple really faded subtle ones right by the pockets. The denim is soft, but strong. They are made out of 85% cotton, 14% polyester and 1% lycra spandex, so there's a bit of stretch to them.
I like these a lot. These are currently the jeans I wear most. I have an opinion on the fit of Express jeans. I think that they run small, so if you are a size 2, you will most likely find a size 4 more comfortable than a 2. Of course, this depends on your body type though, and it's best to try on at a store to see what you think.
