A Stay at the Fairfield Inn

I recently had the need to travel toBirmingham, Alabama for work.Our regular hotel was starting to go downhill, so we chose to stay at the Fairfield Inn in Fultondale, AL.

The outside appearance of the hotel was quite nice. It looks like a fairly new hotel and it had ample parking. While checking in, the staff was very pleasant to deal with.The room that I had was clean and usuable. It was like many of the other hotel rooms that I've been in before.

One downside for the hotel was the lack of an on site restaurant.However, there are several restaurants within the immediate area so it was not a show stopper.

A second downside of the hotel was the pool and spa.It had been a fairly long day and I was looking forward to a soak in the nice warm spa. However, the water was not much over luke warm and the water did not look very clean.I debated even going in the water.

Overall, our trip was a success and the hotel was comfortable to stay in.The next time I have to go toBirmingham, I'll look to stay at this hotel again.
