A Touch of Elegance

I love how this hair accessory looks. It is in this great dark amethyst color. I would definitely say purple is my favorite color, so when I saw it, I had to have it! The headband is covered in tightly wound, shiny ribbon that lies flat. I like the open, oval shapes on this. It allows people to see your hair through it.

This gives my hair a smooth appearance when I wear it. It holds firmly and keeps baby hairs down. I consider this headbandto be on the thinner side, but I do not think this is a bad thing. I do not love that super wide style. This smaller width suits me just fine. The widest part of the band measures one inch across.

I consider this to be more on the dressy side and could dress up a more casual outfit, but I would not wear it with anything too dressed down. It would clash too much with it. After wearing this for a long time, it bothers the area behind my ears. It creates a feeling of pressure. Since this band is covered in fabric, wearing it is not as uncomfortable as others I have worn, especially the plastic ones.
