Underworld - Rise of the Lycans, is a story about a war between Vampires and Werewolves. Different with previous Underworld (part 1 and part 2), Underworld 3 is the prequel story that traces the origin of the war between aristocratic vampires called the Death Dealer and their one time slave, the Lycans. The leader, a young Lycan called Lucian (Michael Seen) who rallies the werewolves against Victor (Bill Nighy), the vampire leader who enslaved them. Victor has a daughter named Sonja (Rhona Mitra) who has fall in love with Lucian, and later together they plan to kill Victor and give Lucian his freedom. From the first time, Victor does not kill Lucian when he still at baby. Victor raises him and turns him into a blacksmith, also as his slave. At one battle, Lucian saved Sonja's life but her father does not accept this reality. He punished Lucian very badly instead of reward him. Day by day, Lucian and his allies' plans gain their freedom. The story line of this movie is very good. It gives the flashback about the cause of the war. Love and betrayal also included in this movie. I like to watch this movie, it pumps up my adrenaline. Brilliant computer effect can also be found in this movie. This movie is produce by Screen Gems Inc. and Lakeshore Entertainment.
