A Wonderful Book for Women!

This book is perfect for anyone who is getting out a bad relationship and needs to be in the "I'm a strong woman" state of mind like I was when I bought this book years ago.This fictional book tells a tale of Dinah, the only daughter of Jacob, in the Bible.Like any female, the story of a daughter begins with the mother.A fact that Anita Diamant obviously recognizes by starting the story with how her mother, Leah,and aunts met her father Jacob.The storyline passing from mother to daughter is seamlessly woven bringing to life a story of tightly knit female community. This book is without a doubt a must read! It's an interesting interpretation on a sentence or so in the Bible.

I love this book.It's really inspiring reading the strong bonds between the women in Jacob's family.Quite a few friends of mine have also read this bookand loved it.This would actually be a terrific book for a book club.Enjoy!
