This is the time of year to buy calendars, and this one caught my eye for my husband's room. It is a 12 month 2009 calendar, with beautiful pictures of lighthouses. I gave this to him for one of his birthday presents, and we had a terrific time going through it, and looking at each picture. Our favorite picture was of a lighthouse that was on some rocks, with a house attached. A couple of the lighthouses were actually in the water. There's just something about a lighthouse that is peaceful and serene, and I thought this calendar would be a great choice for him. I purchased it on our recent vacation to the coast, and that made it special also.

Now when we are discussing a planned event, I won't have to go running upstairs to my kitchen calendar to check the date. We'll have one on the first floor of the house. The numbers on this calendar are quite large and easy to read, and they can be seen from far across the room. The daily date boxes are a nice size for entering information as well. (My whole life seems to be on my calendars!)

He really liked this calendar, and I am sure that it will bring us joy all year, as we look at the lovely lighthouses.
