She is a professional psychic who winds up investigating a murder when one of her clients is murdered after seeing her for a reading. This book is fast paced and has many unique characters in it. The book sometimes makes fun of psychic phenomena and those who get readings. It is set in Chicago. Cooper winds up going on online dates because she thinks that is how the killer found the original victim. This action puts the killer directly into contact with Cooper and leads to some very dangerous results. There is a great romance between Cooper and a police detective working the case.
