This is the absolute best reel available in it's price range. Actually, to find a better reel you'd have to spend another $200 or more. It casts like a dream, palms better than any reel I've owned and ( if set correctly) can cast smaller sized lure just as good as larger ones. Drag is ridiculously powerful, 24lbs!!!!!!! It's lighter than the Quantums I used to own (sold to buy more of these) and has PLENTY of line capacity. Plus, the warranty on Abu Garcia reels is awesome. They have a great warranty. This reel is the best you can get without spending $400 or more. It is as good as those spendy reels for the price.If you like low profile baitcasters, you will not be let down with this one
