Looking for a value priced LCD monitior on a budget was my goal when I picked up this Acer monitor.The Acer line of monitors in general are priced very competitively and provide quite good quality for the price.The construction is very solid and this particular model includes VESA mounts so it is convenient for anyone that uses a mounting system.I'd recommend having a larging monitor to use a mounting system as the 17 inch screen is smaller in these days.

Screen quality is good as well as the navigation through the built in options.It provides a VGA port, power supply port as well as a Kensington lock slot.Newer models provide DVI-D as well as VGA input so up to date input may be used.If you want a monitor of any size on a budget, I would recommend looking into the Acer line of monitors to see if they satisfy your needs.
