Acer Aspire: 2 thumbs up!
By Chenault onI knew it was time to get a new laptop, but I was hesitant to spend a lot of cash on a new one. My Dell Inspiron was okay, but outdated. It was also really heavy. I found the Acer Aspire at Office Max, and it had everything that the Dell I was interested in had, and it was four hundred dollars cheaper!
I bought the Acer Aspire in April 2008, after six weeks of daily use, I must say I am impressed. I love the dvd burner, wireless capabilities and how lightweight the laptop is. The LCD crystalbright screen is great, and the web cam is great for keeping intouch with friends and family.
For the price, this laptop cannot be beat! I would recommend the Acer Aspire for students and first time laptop owners. As well as people who are looking for a simple laptop.

We had this same laptop for a few weeks when my hubby decided to try being an OTR trucker and needed a portable computer. It worked great! It was a downer to lose it, but it had to be pawned for hubby to get home to MN from TX!

My daughter has this laptop and I get to use it once in a while as well. It is excellent. You can browse the Internet, watch movies, listen to music, use the word processor, anything.
My first laptop was Acer , it was okay except for the weight. Is this Acer Aspire heavy?
Sounds like a great laptop to be so cheap. I didn't know you could buy laptops that cheap and for it to work great is wonderful
