Acer Projector-Okey Dokey!

We were looking for an over head projector to use for in-house presentations and training sessions. As being a business partner with our company, Acer offered us a free sample to test out. We received an Acer XD1150 Projector which is one of their entry-level products.
We have been using it since past four months now and used it for projecting presentations as long as 6 to 8 hours in a day. These presentations include slides on power point, containing excel sheets, pictures, graphs, charts, and video clips.
It is very small in size which makes it easy to transport. It is compatible with a number of PCs, Notebooks and other multimedia sources. Acer XD1150 also supports PAL, SECAM, NTSC, HDTV, SDTV and EDTV. Despite all its compatibilities, Acer XD1150 is ideal for DVD 480p Videos.
This Acer projector is a user friendly device .It is very quiet and a Plug in and ready to use device. We are very pleased and satisfied by its performance.
Con: It heats up and gets hanged up if used in hot environment.
Except for the heat problem it sounds like a good system. As the company is letting you test it what a great way to be able to supply input to them about it. Never know you just might influence them to improve upon that. Thanks for the info

I have an Acer 19 inch LCD monitor for my computer. Like your projector, it's sufficient but has one or two minor problems. I'll look this one up if I ever need a projector.
