Acoustica Beatcraft is a drum machine synthesizer software that you can use to generate your own drumlines for your songs. That is, you don't need a real drumset! Just this software, and your PC.
It's very easy to learn and use. I didn't even have to read the manual to figure things out. The resulting sound is great! Just like real drums. I've tried composing original drum patterns through Beatcraft to use for my song compositions, and it goes pretty well. There are built in drum kits to choose from, such as 808 Drums, Acoustic, Rock, Blues, and etc, so you can choose the set that sounds just right for you.
I highly recommend this software for composers. If you want to record your own songs complete with drums, then you'll definitely need this one.

My oldest daughter would be into this in a big way - she creates her own music and records it onto cd/vinyl and she has listeners who love her mixes from as far off as the UK. If she had her way she'd do nothing but compose :) Will mention this to her although I'm certain she's heard of it. Thanks for the info.
Grandson likes the drums,i'll have to check this out.
