Acuvue 2 Contact Lenses By k0b3x on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have using contact lenses for many years now and for most of it I've been using Acuvue 2. These contacts are the standard and most people who use contacts use these. Acuvue 2 is also available in many different options such as astigmatism, oasis, and hydroclear. I've used the original and I have had no huge complaints. They are very easy to take care of and most of the time they are very comfortable. There have been occasions where I would open a bad pair which were uncomfortable in the eye all the time but most of the time the quality is very good. Although they are recommended to be used for two weeks, I often use them for three or four weeks because they still feel comfortable enough to wear. The contacts may get dry for some after about four or five hours, but that is the case for any pair of contacts. Overall, for a cost effective contact solution, I would recommend Acuvue 2.

My husband used these for years. He just recently switched to the hydroclear because of the extended use quality and oxygen aspect. Thanks.

I love Acuvue 2. They are the most comfortable I have found and are very affordable.
