Acuvue Advance With Hydra Clear Are Clear! By April on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Since I am blinder than a bat, I prefer to wear contact lenses over thick glasses. I usually opt for the hard lense, or gas permeable lense, but my eye doctor suggested I check out the Acuvue brand for HydraClear due to my cornea being irritated. Within a week of using the soft lense, my eyes felt better and were healthier, too!

These contact lenses are disposable lenses, meaning I can wear a pair for up to two weeks and simply throw them away. It is not recommended to wear them longer, or overnight, as protein buildup on them will become a problem. But since I take my lenses out daily, this was not a problem for me.

The cost of the lense was pretty comparable to a one-year lense, the difference is you get eight boxes of lenses. For me that is great, my prescription is the same in each eye, so I don't have to find out which box goes for which eye. It is cheaper for cleanser solution, also. I only have to buy one bottle of solution instead of a separate solution and cleaner. That's a winner for me!

In my eyes, AcueVue Advance with HydraClear is clearly a wise choice.
