Acuvue Oasys Contact Lenses By Kristyh By kristyh on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have worn contacts in the past but not for the past couple of years. Recently I decided to get contacts again. My eye doctor recommended these so I gave them a shot. There are things I like and do not like about them.

Like-

* I can see better when I wear them ;0)

* They do make them for people with astigmatism

* They do not burn while putting them in

Dislikes-

*They are expensive! I have seen some offers for buying them online that send you a mail-in-rebate but I don't know how reliable that is. I paid $74 for 2 boxes at Wal-Mart which is way too much.

*At the end of the day they start getting dry and annoying.

*About a day before the week is up I can tell they are dry and not as comfortable.

OVERALL: Honestly I am thinking about switching brands. Partly because of the price and also because they get too dry for me at the end of the day. I do not remember what brand I wore before but I do not remember that happening. If you have tried these and they work for you I say stick with them. I think I am gonna try other contacts before I decide to stick with one brand.
