My father has been using this digital BP monitor, which is clinically validated and has been finding it quite handy. He suffers from hypertension and he requires to measure his BP regularly. We only got to know about his elevated blood pressure after the MI and he is on medication since. He used to monitor his BP regularly but fixing an appointment, going for the consultation or getting someone at home to do it for you is a hassle. Getting to but the A&D Digital Blood Pressure Monitor was quite a relief! The cardiologist had recommended it and we didn't think twice about it.

This BP monitor is easy to use and more or less give an accurate measurement. It shows irregular heart rhythm, last reading recall and pulse rate as well. It provides an extra large 3-line display for an easier read. The slim fit comfortable cuff is very easy to fit in the upper arm and is extra large of obese patients. The monitor flashes the PULSE rate aswell together with the systolic and diastolic. It has 150 memory and PC download capacity. Even though we haven't tried the download thing I heard that it works fine with an advanced inbuilt software.

Initially, my father had a bit of inconvenience with the variable readings that the gadget used to flash. But soon he understood the right way to fix the cuff and the right position to be in. He now takes an average reading of the three that he takes every time. He has become quite used to it and never really finds it problematic which he used to initially. He has also come with terms with that fact that he is hypertensive and he got to control it anyhow. The fear has somewhat gone.Good for us!

We are glad that we could actually keep his BP monitored and A & D is a step towards healthy heart and healthy living.
