A&D original ointment is one of my favorite multi-purpose products for little ones. I have used it many many times on both my children to prevent and treat diaper rashes. My son has very sensitive skin and diaper rashes are a frequent problem for him. A&D provides immediate relief from the discomfort of the rash and it quickly treats it, often overnight. It is an easy to apply gel formula that blends in quickly and washes off easily. It has a mild, clean medicated fragrance. And when applied regularly it keeps the wetness away from your babies bottom to help prevent the rashes from occurring.

Another fantastic use for this product is it's ability to soothe and protect skin from chaffing and wind burns. In the winter I always put a little on my babies sensitive cheeks and lips to protect them from the wind and cold. In the summer I use it to cool and soothe overheated skin. My son had a terrible reaction to the sand and salt water in his swim diaper at the beach this past summer. A&D treated his discomfort immediately and the rash was gone completely within a few days. It is a great multi-use product for anyone with little ones. I highly recommend it.
