Reviewing: Unknown Porcelain Mini Houses
Purchased at: Walgreens     Price: $0.99 USD

This year, I started to collect porcelain houses so that come Christmas time, I could create my Christmas village. For this I found the perfect items to do that. These are the Porcelain mini houses, churches, and post office. My husband actually bought these for me when he stepped out to the store. I thought they were so adorable, I decorated my village right then and there.

There are several types of mini houses you buy. The first is the church, which is pictured below. The second in the post office, and the third are the little houses. I put little people, trees, and fake cotton snow around it and it looked beautiful.

These houses are made out of porcelain and seem to be very sturdy (we will see next year when I unpack them), but so far I have not had any fall apart or the paint chip.

The only downfall is these don't light up. I made do with that though. All I did was stick a light inside the opening and turned them on and I had a lighted village.

These made my vision on the perfect village and I will use them in years to come.

Very nice. I was thinking of doing the same thing this year but ended up side tracked - next year for sure ;) Thanks for the info!

I used to have my own personalized village that was purchased at the craft store, all white, then painted myself. It was fun because I could make them all the colors I wanted. Having them pre-painted has its advantages though- less time spent decorating if one doesn't have the time.
