We purchased many items from the Fisher-Price Precious Planet line for our son, so when it came time to choose a bouncer, this is the one we chose. We loved the price to start with. We only found one bouncer that cost slightly less and it wasn't nearly as cute! It was very easy to assemble and once assembly was completed, it was very sturdy. The seat cover is great! It was very easy to put on the frame and is very easy to remove. This is perfect as it definitely had to be washed several times. One of my very favorite things about this bouncer is how well it washed. The seat cover looks brand new still! My son used it regularly and we washed it several times, but the bright colors did not fade. It does use 1 size D battery, but the battery seemed to go forever. Some of our other baby items which required batteries burned through them, but not this bouncer. The only complaint I have about the Precious Planet bouncer is that it doesn't have any type of head support for little babies. When my son was very young, we had to use an additional head support so that he didn't tilt to the side uncomfortably. This was an extra expense we had to have in order to use the bouncer, but it was well worth as our son loves his bouncer!
